PS needs to put some effort into restoring thier old games because to this day I'm still digging out my PS3. Playstation has Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, Sly Cooper, Killzone, Resistance, InFamous, God of War, Syphon Filter the list goes on. Honestly what gets me is that they'll let you buy a re-release of a collection of old games (The Jak & Daxter Bundle) for 50$CAD and have them be absolutely broken ports that take two years to fix and still have problems. But it's in a decent place again with Vondel.

Sure, the maps have had their ups and downs (Caldera was awful and the new map in WZ2 was only a bit better but not by much). Sure, give us some new maps, but focus on bringing the old ones forward.Īnd although BRs get a bad rap, Warzone to me has been the greatest one and I've stuck playing it since it released.
#Xbox one backwards compatibility update
But what they REALLY need to do is just update all the maps from those earlier games. They keep teasing us by remaking some great maps in newer games, Crash for example shows up now and then. I feel the map designers haven't been able to capture the magic that the original MW1,2 and maybe even 3 had (although it's been ages since I played 3 so I don't remember). I feel you're right that it was spotty, mainly due to the new maps. MW19 had spades of potential and the new engine was wonderful, but the execution was a bit spotty and it was ultimately overshadowed by Warzone. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
